- Running sessions, that, in addition to the development of normal physiological parameters, aim to optimise fat max (ie the highest rate of fat oxidation at the highest possible speeds). The development of this feature in conjunction with the management of competition-related energy intake, practically eliminates the feeling of «hitting the wall» or «running on empty».
