This was her first attempt running this race in Death Valley, California and she finished in an incredible time of 28:45:32 Jo&#8217;s coach Giannis Tzanetakis of Tzanetakis Lab, pointed out that almost all of the performance contributing factors went well. The acclimatization protocols worked perfectly. We were monitoring the energy intake and consumption with wearables and always keeping effective manipulation of the heat strain and a positive psychological attitude during the race with a proactive crew to support Jo&#8217;s effort.
